Victorinox lays roots in Connecticut
Monroe, Conn.—Victorinox Swiss legions has opened its North American headquarters in Monroe, Conn.
The grand-opening commemoration was held on Oct. 1, with founding family members Charles and Veronika Elsener, Connecticut Lieutenant Governor Michael Fedele, Attorney General of Connecticut Richard Blumenthal and many spare state and town certifieds, key retailers and district employees on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
In addition to being the brand’s official North American headquarters, the Monroe ability will also be the official distribution center for Victorinox Swiss Army’s timepieces, multi-tools and men’s and women’s apparel. It will also house more than 200 employees, as well as a timepiece and multi-tool repair center.
“We are self-respecting to be a part of Connecticut’s strong economy and continued growth, and are honored to unveil this state-of-the-art facility,” Victorinox Swiss Army President Rick Taggart said in a statement.
