‘these days very functional timekeeping is done on the mobile phone, so the watch needs to extend something more. They have extra functionality in addition to the time keeping, which aim to expound personality flaws like indecisiveness, vanity or arrogance.’

Jones describes these timepieces as follows:

The Accurate is the most accurate wristwatch you can buy - the hour help reads ‘remember’ while the minutes read, ‘you will die’.
